DMV Study Guide is operated by the company behind DriveMagic. This site compares permit preparation tools and does not collect driving records or require an account.

Your page layout

We store a randomly assigned homepage layout in your browser for up to 90 days so repeat visits show a consistent layout. We include the layout identifier in analytics when analytics is enabled. Clearing browser storage resets it.

Optional Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure page visits, layout exposure, review opens, and links to providers. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish browsers and reports information such as device category, broad location, and traffic source. We send a layout identifier and fixed product or link-placement labels, rather than names, email addresses, form answers, or arbitrary URL parameters. Standard campaign and advertising click identifiers may be included for attribution.

Analytics is enabled by default. You can turn it off using Analytics preferences in the homepage footer. We remember your choice in this browser and respect existing opt-outs. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track disable analytics. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. To change your choice, open Analytics preferences on the homepage. Declining stops future analytics and clears this site's Google Analytics cookies; previously collected data is not automatically deleted.

Different browsers, devices, private browsing, ad blockers, and cookie choices can affect measurement. The layout test measures referral clicks, not whether a visitor passes an exam or makes a purchase.

Outbound links & hosting

DriveMagic links include this site's domain, campaign, page layout, and link placement in UTM parameters. These are fixed referral labels, not personal answers. Linked sites have their own privacy practices. Our hosting provider, Render, processes normal request information to deliver and secure the site.
